Saturday Sessions: 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Lunch is on your own from 11:30 a.m.-1:00p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Anita Archer’s Sunday morning session (Explicit Instruction) will start and end 30 minutes earlier than the other sessions (8:00-11:00 a.m.) to accommodate Dr. Archer’s travel schedule.

University Credit
One 500-level university credit will be available from UAA for participants who attend the entire conference and complete a short (2 or 3 page) follow-up paper. Registration will take place at the conference on Friday afternoon and will also be available online. The cost is $109.
Meals
In order to keep the conference registration fee affordable, no food is included as part of the conference.
We will have complimentary coffee on Saturday morning. Coffee carts will be available at the Dena’ina Center both days.
Saturday lunch: Please give some thought to your lunch options on Saturday. Lunch is on your own from 11:30-1:00. Remember that 1,000 people will all be looking for lunch at 11:30, so please plan ahead. The concession stand at the Dena’ina Center will be open for sandwiches and convenience food on site. There are many great restaurants close to the Center as well.

If you are traveling from outside Anchorage and would like to eat with your district team, please consider making restaurant reservations in advance or making lunch arrangements with your hotel so that you are able to enjoy lunch with your colleagues within the time allotted.
Parking/Carpool
Street parking is free on the weekends. There are several municipal and privately owned parking lots near the Dena’ina Center with over 2,000 spaces available.

Waitlist
We currently have more than 50 people on our waitlist.
How to Cancel Your Registration
If you find that you are unable to attend the conference, please let us know so that we can offer your seat to someone else. There is a large waitlist.
To cancel your registration, call Alaska Staff Development Network at 364-3801 or 364-3809. We can be reached by email at asdn@alaskaacsa.org. We will waive the $30 cancellation fee when we fill your seat. No refunds after January 23.
